Despite having Dark Hawk in its name, the defining card of this deck would more accurately be said to be Aero. Due to a major strategy being the double aero on turns 5 and 6, I have nicknamed the deck "Crosswinds". The deck is specially out fitted to preform against thanos decks (and lockjaw as a whole) as well as shuri decks. I used it on ladder to get me out of a pod of players who almost exclusively used those decks. It's up for the task if you're in a similar pod.

Generally, you are reliant on drawing one of your 2-drops by turn 3 for a game to be winnable. In scenarios you don't, the game will very rarely fall in your favor. From my experimentation, sunspot was not enough to salvage said-games, so he did not make the list.

Thanos Matchup: Due to leech, people often say that this deck is impossible to counter, but there are ways. This is one of the places Odin shines, as it essentially doubles your chance of top-decking your needed tech card late. Whether you need Shang Chi or Killmonger, you can feel free to play it early, as while it's on the board, topdecking Odin allows you to use its effect another time when it's actually needed- even if you got leached. Additionally, shuffling in rocks is extra effective due to how it can disrupt the lockjaw cycle. Ice-man hitting lockjaw or leech is similarly debilitating. Darkhawk also overperforms here. Overall, while the matchup still isn't easy, you have every tool that counters it, and ways to dodge their best form of stopping you.

Shuri Matchup: This one is the best matchups this deck can possibly have. The easiest way to win is Double Aero. Whether you aero on 5 and then odin it, or you aero on 5 and then drop absorbing man in the same lane, it lets you force all the power they're creating down a single lane. All you have to do is win the other two, which isn't as hard as it seems- especially since you're almost always pulling them towards the lane they were already strongest in.
