is draft/limited a possibility?


It would be a fun option- card games are my favorite and MTG draft is how I play 99% of the time. "Playing with what you've got" is great in many ways. This is also the drive of poker or "regular" card games.

Snap does a good job of removing a lot of sameness by reducing available cards, but it seems that long term most will have "meta" decks.

A few ideas of fun versions of this could be the following:

1) draft a deck via random cards Ala hearthstone or runeterra, play x times, reset. Overall uninspired but would work.

2) Unique take - draft after match making 1:1 but with the same seed of Pool. Each player is presented the same options, 12 picks in some fashion, followed by game play. Remove two, draft 2, play conquest style round.

Reducing reading time for new players can be done by having 3 cards to choose- then only having one random one reset as an option.

Another option would be to have five cards available but have them slide two at a time so some fall off and others stick around. "Right" card would show for an extra round and could be reserved for tier 3 and below cards only to add pressure to picking up rare tier 4/5 cards. (Numbers below illustrate this).

I think it would be more fun to force touch choices- what if tier 5 cards in the example above were only available for one round?

Hope this option would allow enough levers to calibrate for maximum fun. Thanks!
